The City of Parramatta Art Society

The aim of the society is to encourage, promote and foster appreciation of the arts throughout the local community.

We encourage emerging artists of all ages to develop their skills and to participate in our regular activities which includes workshops, demonstrations and art classes, held at our studio.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We’d like to thank all our wonderful supporters, students, and visitors for a fantastic year.

 

Our classes and gallery will close for the festive season this Friday and re-open officially on Tuesday, 4th February with the opening of our first exhibition for 2025.

 

Changeover preparations will take place on Sunday, 2nd February, but some of us will be back around mid-January to start getting ready.

Classes will also resume mid-January, and during this time, the gallery will be manned by a skeleton staff.

Learn to paint

The Parramatta Art Society offers a number of courses by local artists in a wide range of media.

Classes are held in the Society's Studio at Shop 6, 4 - 14, Hunter Street, Parramatta.

Classes are available for both members and non-members, and can be arranged by contacting the individual tutors.
